Our Languages
Many Languages. One Gospel. One Family.
Dallas is one of America’s great international cities. People from nations around the world now call our community home, bringing with them their languages, cultures, traditions, and stories.
Across the United States, more than 500 languages are spoken in our homes. Here in Dallas, we know of more than 350 spoken languages, reflecting a remarkable diversity —and we see it every week at Forest Meadow.
At The Churches at Forest Meadow, we believe this diversity gives us a wonderful opportunity to live out the vision Jesus has given us:
Loving God. Loving Neighbors. Following Jesus.
The Gospel does not belong to one nation, one culture, or one language. On the Day of Pentecost, people from many nations heard the good news of Jesus Christ proclaimed in their own languages (Acts 2:5–11).
Revelation gives us an even greater picture of God’s Kingdom: people from “every nation, tribe, people and language” standing together before the throne of God (Revelation 7:9).
We get a small glimpse of that beautiful picture every week at Forest Meadow.
Our campus is home to congregations and fellowships worshiping and ministering in several languages. Each congregation has its own cultural heritage and ministry, while together we share our life and witness as neighbors and followers of Jesus Christ.

Different Languages. One Lord.
We do not expect everyone at Forest Meadow to worship in the same language or in exactly the same way. What unites us is greater than what distinguishes us.
“There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all.”
— Ephesians 4:5–6 (NLT)
At Forest Meadow, Amharic, Zomi, English, Spanish, Burmese, Arabic, and Swahili can all become languages of prayer, praise, Scripture, fellowship, and proclamation.
God has brought the nations to our neighborhood.
And that gives us the opportunity to do exactly what Jesus has called us to do:
Love God. Love Our Neighbors. Follow Jesus.
There is a place for you here.
Whether English is your first language or your fifth, whether your family has lived in Dallas for generations or you have only recently arrived, we invite you to discover one of the communities worshiping at The Churches at Forest Meadow.
